I did a catering order for 25 guests on 25th October. All my guests were raving about the food. It was authentic, South Indian food and every dish was flawless. The meal was delivered on time and set up for me as I had requested. I strongly recommend this caterer as the quality, quantity and pricing was just amazing. The food is absolutely authentic. They have the best cutlets, puzham pori and biriyanis. They have deals happening everyday. Whenever you miss food back home, this is the place to come to. Their service is amazing as well. Selva is an amazing host .. everyone should try this place without fail.

Kayal Cafe is one of my favourite places to relax after work. Most evenings, I stop by just for a cup of tea, and the experience is always pleasant. The staff—Sam, Basil, and Arun—provide excellent customer service and make you feel truly welcome every time. The chicken biriyani is outstanding and easily one of the best I’ve had. It’s flavourful, authentic, and consistently good. A special mention to Chef Sandhya, who is an excellent cook and shows real dedication to tea making. Her tea has a unique, special taste that truly stands out. On Sundays especially, the tea and snacks are exceptional. Overall, the food feels very authentic, and honestly, Kayal Cafe has become a bit of an addiction for me. I would always recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and friendly service.

This is the most authentic Kerala cuisine I've relished in the entire Melbourne. They offer varieties of Biriyani, Kerala Meals, Fish Curry, Pork Roast etc. to name a few. Evening time can be sentilating with Tea & traditional Kerala snacks. Don't expect much frills as it's a basic layout for the restaurant (more cafe oriented styling). Ample parking can be found just behind the Cafe.
